- Feb 11, 2012I recently came across an awesome group called the Modern Quilt Guild and was stopped in my tracks. You guys know I’m into quilting but these creations are unlike anything I’d seen before. Here were some of my favorites that I found on the group’s Flickr account:





These modern takes and bold uses of color and geometrics are really inspiring. Changes the way you see quilts, right?

- Feb 23, 2012They are wonderful! My late Great Grandmother Moming yes that was her name, made me a quilt for my bed from fabric from dresses she had made. Has my name and age on 17 and her age 92. I still have it. Really cool! I know you wouldn't be intrested in a woman like me but anyway I like the blue wavey one! reminds me of the ocean makes me feel peaceful.
- Feb 23, 2012I enjoy quilting; though I haven't had time to make anything huge like a bedsized quilt since my kids came along. But my favorite stop at the state fair each is year is the quilt rack. It is amazing the talent those quiltmakers have! Thanks for sharing these, they are beautiful.
